Adria E. Warren is senior counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP where she is a member of the Health Care and Emerging Technologies Industry Teams as well as the Transactional & Securities, Private Equity & Venture Capital, and International Practices.
Ms. Warren’s practice focuses on advising clients with respect to mergers, acquisitions, affiliations and strategic transactions, including forming provider groups, networks, alliances, and joint ventures. Prior to joining Foley’s Health Care Industry Team, Ms Warren was a senior counsel in the firm’s business law department, and brings a wealth of business and transactional experience to assist clients in the health care industry, including providers, medical device companies, life sciences companies, and health care information technology companies. In addition, Ms. Warren counsels entrepreneurs and established companies on a wide range of day-to-day legal and business issues from starting-up through going public, including corporate governance issues, securities laws compliance, tax, and employment matters.
Ms. Warren serves as co-chair of the Health Care Associates Committee and recently concluded a term as a member of the firm’s national Associates Committee.
Prior to joining Foley, Ms. Warren was an associate at McDermott, Will & Emery in Boston.
Ms. Warren graduated from Smith College (A.B., cum laude, 1990) and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (M.A., 1997). She obtained her law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (J.D., 1998), where she was the articles editor for Pacific Basin Law Journal. Ms. Warren is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Ms. Warren lived in China from 1990-1993 and in 1996, and has worked extensively with China and Southeast Asia in numerous capacities. She is conversant in French and Mandarin Chinese. Ms. Warren currently serves as co-chair of the China Committee for the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law.
