Amber Rumancik is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP. Her practice includes varied types of complex commercial litigation, with a significant focus on representing developers, owners, general contractors and subcontractors in construction litigation, representing manufacturers and retailers of heavy equipment in products liability litigation, and representing lenders in complex commercial foreclosure and loan workouts. Ms. Rumancik has particular experience in successfully litigating claims involving construction defects, breach of contract, fraud, products liability, breach of warranty, and the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act. Ms. Rumancik is a member of the firm’s Construction and Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practices.
Prior to joining Foley, Ms. Rumancik was an intern for the Honorable Timothy J. Corrigan, United States District Judge for the Middle District of Florida.
Ms. Rumancik graduated from Florida State University College of Law (J.D., magna cum laude), where she received book awards in civil procedure and contracts I. While in law school, she was an associate articles editor of the Law Review, and a member of the Business Law Review. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations from Lipscomb University (magna cum laude).
Ms. Rumancik is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the Northern, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, Jacksonville Bar Association, and the Associated Builders and Contractors Association – Florida First Coast Chapter. Ms. Rumancik is also a member of the Fourth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee and volunteers as an attorney coach for the Fletcher High School Mock Trial Team in Jacksonville.
