Beatriz Carta Wagman is special counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP and is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Environmental Regulation Practices.
Ms. Carta Wagman focuses her practice on all aspects of complex litigation and trial matters. She has represented corporate clients in state and federal courts and has significant pre-trial experience. Most recently, she performed pre-trial e-discovery in complex tort litigation and environmental law cases.
Ms. Carta Wagman earned her J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law (1989) and her B.A. in international studies from the University of South Florida (1984). She is currently earning her LL.M. in international law from the University of Miami School of Law (expected date of graduation: December 2012). She is fluent in Spanish.
