Brooke D. Clarkson is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP, where she is a member of the Securities, Enforcement & Litigation Practice.
During law school, Ms. Clarkson was a summer associate with Foley, where she focused on securities litigation, government agency decisions, and regulatory standards. Prior to entering law school, she worked in the District Attorney’s Office of New York County, NY in the Frauds Bureau as a trial preparation assistant where she was involved in the prosecution of major white collar crimes. Her work included analyzing trading records and account statements regarding possible market manipulation of stock prices, conducting preliminary interviews of potential witnesses, and drafting legal documents.
Ms. Clarkson graduated, magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland School of Law and was elected to the Order of the Coif (J.D., 2007). She was also a member of the Maryland Law Review. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Princeton University in 2003 with a concentration in economics and public policy through the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
Ms. Clarkson is admitted to practice in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
