The award-winning FOLEY ClientSuiteSM enables you to instantly manage any legal matter through a secure Web site — whenever and wherever it is most convenient.

By enabling clients to access and review all matter-related documents and correspondence, FOLEY ClientSuite creates a virtual office where you can manage your matters on your own terms. This no-cost service is one way we extend valuable firm resources and services to you.

The Home Page: The FOLEY ClientSuite Home page acts as an aggregator of new information and provides quick access to any new content. The Home page displays new documents posted to the site, upcoming events, assigned tasks, notes, and recently accessed notifications, documents, matters, and resource libraries. Searching and navigation features give quick access to the matter and detail.

Matter Overview and Detail: The Matters page displays a listing of all matters specific to you. Selecting an individual matter opens a view with five easy-access tabs: Overview, Notes, Calendar, Tasks, and Contacts. The Overview page displays quick access to information in the Matter Properties, Newest Documents, Tasks, Recent Notifications, Recently Accessed Documents, and Upcoming Events sections.

Resource Libraries: The Resource Libraries page provides content that is not matter-specific. The resource module can be customized to include content relevant to you, including:

  • Policies and procedures
  • Privacy guidelines
  • Tax regulations
  • Employee benefits information
  • Human resource information
  • Foley newsletters
  • Purchasing guidelines
  • Model documents
  • Best practices/white papers

Reports: A number of reports are available through FOLEY ClientSuite. We can work with you to help identify the most suitable type of report and format to meet your needs.

Search: Search from any page to quickly locate information found either on that particular page or in all the documents, notes, tasks, and contacts stored on the site. More sophisticated searches can be conducted through the Search tab, where you can add qualifiers to limit and refine your results.

Documents: Individual and multiple documents can be uploaded and posted to the site, and organized into folders and subfolders. Whether litigation or transactional — FOLEY ClientSuite can effectively manage large or small volumes of documents to meet your needs.

Calendar: On the Calendar page, you can post single and recurring events and indicate who will be in attendance. The calendar provides a view of any matter-related event, such as important meetings, court dates, or depositions.

Tasks: Create new tasks and assign them to other team members — either Foley or client — using the management tool on the Tasks page. You can send notifications to the responsible users and post them to the Home page. Once assigned, a task’s owner can be notified via email and tasks can be posted to Microsoft Outlook calendars. The status of the task can be updated as the task nears completion.

Contacts: Tracking the individuals involved is a critical component of matter management. On the Contacts page, all the individuals working on or involved in a matter, including Foley attorneys, client attorneys, expert witnesses, co-counsel, opposing counsel, or judges can be listed.
