Annual board of director and CEO evaluations have become increasingly common for most public companies. Board and CEO evaluations should identify areas of strength and weakness, leading companies to make responsive changes that positively impact shareholder value. Because of the importance of these evaluations, including the governance implications of failing to conduct the evaluations properly, it is key that the people involved with the design and implementation of the evaluations understand current best practices in this area.

Join Foley for our next NDI Checkpoint Web conference, moderated by Partners Jessica S. Lochmann and Steven W. Vazquez. Panelists include Courtney Worcester, Senior Counsel of Foley & Lardner LLP; Julie England, Director of Checkpoint Systems, Inc.; Brendan Sheehan, Corporate Consultant; and Barth Wolf, Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Integrys Energy Group, Inc. This installment will explore the different methods for conducting board and CEO evaluations, including the benefits and risks associated with various processes and the most effective ways to analyze and utilize the results of the evaluations.
