Foley represented the Milwaukee Brewers' management in their first ever successful salary arbitration with a player. Foley appeared in front of a three-member arbitration panel that was required under Baseball rules to choose between the two proposals, with no compromise. After the hearing, the panel found in favor of the Brewers and adopted their salary submission.
