Gregory P. Marren is operating officer of Foley & Lardner's Business Law Department. He has management responsibility for departmental business operations and financial affairs, as well as for development of strategic business plans and budgets.
Greg joined Foley & Lardner upon the firm's 2001 merger with Hopkins & Sutter, a large Chicago law firm, where he was the managing director and chief financial officer. Serving there in his senior management role for more than 18 years, he was responsible for all aspects of administrative and financial management, operations and reporting. His prior professional career was with Arthur Andersen & Co. as a manager in the manufacturing audit division.
Mr. Marren holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
