Jennifer Pinder is a senior counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP and is a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy & Business Reorganizations Practice.
Ms. Pinder has experience, including representation of Chapter 11 debtors, secured and unsecured creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, and retained professionals in Chapter 11 cases. Ms. Pinder has substantial experience drafting and negotiating first day pleadings in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, Chapter 11 plan negotiation and confirmation, section 363 sales under the Bankruptcy Code, the assumption and rejection of executory contracts, modification to the automatic stay, setoff rights, and both the prosecution and defense of preference and fraudulent conveyance actions. She also has substantial experience in contested commercial foreclosure litigation and loan workouts related thereto.
Ms. Pinder also prosecuted a federal withdrawal liability action under ERISA on behalf of a pension fund, and pursued post-judgment collection activities in this matter.
In addition, Ms. Pinder has aided with the discovery process and trial preparation while defending the former chief financial officer of a Fortune 500 company in a government enforcement action. Through such work, she has developed experience with many aspects of electronic discovery.

Prior to joining Foley, Ms. Pinder was an associate with a bankruptcy litigation firm, where her practice consisted of counseling and assisting clients with respect to bankruptcy, commercial and civil litigation, along with appellate practice.
Ms. Pinder is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Pinder earned her J.D. (magna cum laude, 2005) from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Team. She received her B.A. (cum laude, 2001) in political science, minor in history, from the University of Florida.
Ms. Pinder is a member of the board of directors for The Tampa Connection, and a member of the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association.
