Karl W. Von Drathen is senior counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the Finance & Financial Institutions, Public Finance, Health Care Finance & Restructuring, and Transactional & Securities Practices and the Health Care Industry Team.
His practice includes representing lenders, borrowers and investment banking firms in secured and unsecured transactions with an emphasis on health care and military institutions and serves as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel and corporate counsel.
Mr. Von Drathen is a 2000 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with honors, from the University of Southern California in 1996.
A member of the American Bar Association, Mr. Von Drathen also belongs to the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
Mr. Von Drathen is admitted to the Illinois Bar.
