Keith Christiansen is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP. As a member of the firm’s Estates & Trusts Practice, he practices in the areas of estate planning and Wisconsin marital property law. He also has experience in tax, valuation and fiduciary litigation. He is co-author of the State Bar of Wisconsin's three-volume CLE handbook, Marital Property Law in Wisconsin, and is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
Mr. Christiansen is admitted to practice in the states of Wisconsin and Florida, and in addition to those two states' bar associations is a member of the American and Milwaukee Bar Associations.
He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he received his bachelor's degree in 1965 and his law degree, with honors, in 1968. Mr. Christiansen was a member of the board of editors of the Wisconsin Law Review, and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
Mr. Christiansen has been Peer Review Rated as AV® Preeminent™, the highest performance rating in Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system and is listed in the current edition of The Best Lawyers in America®. He was also selected for inclusion in the 2005 – 2012 lists of Wisconsin Super Lawyers®.
