Kristina Matic is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Insurance & Reinsurance Litigation Practices and the Insurance & Reinsurance Industry Team.
Ms. Matic earned her law degree from Harvard Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2009), where she completed over 1,000 hours of pro bono work. Ms. Matic was a member and vice president of Harvard Defenders, a student practice organization at Harvard Law School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University (B.A., cum laude, 2005).
During law school, Ms. Matic participated in the summer associate program at Wilmer Hale (Boston, MA), and also worked at the Criminal Justice Institute of Harvard.
Ms. Matic co-authored the article, "Government’s False Claims Act Complaint Against Major Financial Institution Alleges False Certifications of Compliance with HUD Underwriting Rules," that was published in Financial Fraud Law Reports, Vol. 3, No. 8, in September 2011.
Ms. Matic is admitted to practice in Wisconsin.
