Laura Neumeister is an associate in the Business Law Department of Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Finance & Financial Institutions Practice as well as the Energy Industry Team.
Ms. Neumeister’s project finance practice focuses on advising developers in connection with the acquisition, construction and financing of renewable energy generation facilities.
Ms. Neumeister also has significant experience in secured and unsecured commercial finance and public finance transactions as counsel to lenders, borrowers, underwriters, credit enhancers, liquidity enhancers and bond trustees.
In addition, Ms. Neumeister has experience and knowledge with respect to corporate transactions such as mergers, asset acquisitions, convertible debt financings and other general corporate matters.
Ms. Neumeister is active in pro bono matters and community service. She is on the finance committee and program committee of the nonprofit organization World Savvy.
Ms. Neumeister received her law degree from Northwestern University School of Law (J.D., 2007). She is a graduate of Indiana University, School of Public and Environmental Affairs (B.S., summa cum laude, 2003).
Ms. Neumeister is admitted to the California State Bar. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of San Francisco and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. She is not admitted to practice in New York.
