Linda Moore is office administrator of Foley & Lardner's Detroit, Michigan office. In this capacity she oversees and coordinates the office's accounting and billing, human resources (including staff hiring and training) and facility management functions. Linda also assists the office's managing partner as requested with special projects, and serves when needed as a liaison to the Chicago office's director of administration & operations.
Ms. Moore is an accomplished professional administrator, with more than three decades of managerial experience in business and professional service organizations. Prior to joining Foley & Lardner she served as chief financial officer and director of finance at one of Michigan's leading real estate groups. Reporting to the president, she managed the day-to-day operations of the company and 12 development, title and property management affiliates, including oversight of accounting, benefits, budgeting, finance, human resource and tax activities. Ms. Moore assumed that responsibility after more than 25 years of law firm administrative experience, the last 13 years of which were at a 180-lawyer, 350-employee firm with seven offices in Michigan and Florida. As director of human resources, she was responsible to the firm's board of directors for all personnel matters and handled legal and staff recruiting, benefit and pension administration, employment law compliance, and all insurance coverages.
Linda holds a bachelor's degree in economics and has received professional certification in Employee Benefits Administration and Pension Plan Administration from the Institute of Employee Benefits.
