Michael F. Taveira is a member of Foley’s Electronics Practice and the Automotive Industry Team. He provides support to our clients in the areas of telecommunications; computer hardware and software; electromechanical control systems; digital and fiber-optic communications; semiconductor devices, processors, and circuits; memory and logic systems; integrated, digital, and analog circuit design; and optical systems.
Mr. Taveira previously worked for Columbia University as a resident computer and lab consultant. He supervised the university network, helped lab users with advanced application problems, and instructed users on MS Office and basic networking.
Mr. Taveira attended Tulane University Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2007), where he was a member of the Tulane Law Review Journal. Mr. Taveira earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University, School of Engineering and Applied Science (B.S., electrical engineering, 2003). He participated in a summer study–abroad program at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on the topic of international law.
Mr. Taveira is fluent in Portuguese/Brazilian and has a working knowledge of Japanese, French and Spanish.
Mr. Taveira is admitted to practice in California.
