Are the Crown Jewels in an Unlocked Safe? Best Practices for Ensuring That Trade Secrets are Not Readily Ascertainable By Proper Means or By Departing Employees

Foley is pleased to announce the launch of a new five part Web conference series, Trade Secrets and Noncompete Agreements: What You Need to Know

The third session, Are the Crown Jewels in an Unlocked Safe? Best Practices for Ensuring That Trade Secrets are Not Readily Ascertainable By Proper Means or By Departing Employees took place on November 12, 2009.

In week three, we focused on the protection of trade secrets. We discussed the proper drafting of confidentiality and related policies, noncompete agreements, and other restrictive covenants. We also discussed how to handle departing employees.

Russell Beck is the Foley attorney responsible for the content of this series.
