Nicholas Fox is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice.
Mr. Fox previously served as a summer associate at Foley. Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Fox worked as a law clerk for Haight, Brown, & Bonesteel. He was also a judicial extern for the Honorable M. Margaret McKeown of the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and a judicial intern for the Honorable Marilyn L. Huff of the United States District Court of the Southern District of California.
Mr. Fox received his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2011). He was elected to the Order of the Coif, was senior executive editor of the San Diego Law Review, and a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board. Mr. Fox earned his undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of Wisconsin – Madison (B.A., 2006), where he received the Meyerhoff Undergraduate Excellence Award, Pooley Prize Fellowship (two-time recipient) and the Library System Student Service Award.
Mr. Fox is admitted to practice law in California, and the Northern, Central, and Southern federal districts of California. He is a member of the American Bar Association, San Diego County Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Association of Business Trial Lawyers, and serves on the board of directors for the Tom Homann LGBT Law Association.
