Sharon Mollman Elliott
Of Counsel
Sharon Mollman Elliott is of counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP. As a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Labor & Employment Practices and the Trade Secret/Noncompete Task Force, Ms. Mollman Elliott focuses on complex commercial litigation and employment litigation and counseling, particularly in the areas of trade secrets and non-competition agreements. Ms. Mollman Elliott has extensive experience in both invalidating and enforcing non-competition and confidentiality agreements, and in obtaining and defeating preliminary injunctions. She uses her knowledge in invalidating non-competition and confidentiality agreements to draft restrictive covenants for all contexts. Ms. Mollman Elliott is also well-versed in employment litigation. She counsels employers on employee discipline and termination, wage and hour issues, disability and FMLA requests, and sexual harassment and discrimination claims. Ms. Mollman Elliott was a law clerk for the Honorable Richard S. Arnold, chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit. She is a 1993 summa cum laude graduate of the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana, where she was the senior managing editor of the Law Journal and a member of the Order of the Coif. She earned a B.S. in biomedical science in 1986 from Ohio University. Ms. Mollman Elliott is a member of the Wisconsin and District of Columbia Bars and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and various U.S. Courts of Appeals, as well as federal and state trial courts.
