Ronald L. (Ron) Walter

Ronald L. Walter is a retired partner with Foley & Lardner LLP. A member of the Tax & Individual Planning Practice, Tax & Employee Benefits Practice and Sports Industry Team, Mr. Walter's practice focused on general executive compensation matters, partnerships and tax litigation, as well as general business counsel to both closely held and publicly traded corporations. He also counseled in the area of business acquisitions, had substantial experience working with medical clinics, and provided representation to two professional sports teams.Mr. Walter is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Michigan. He is a past chair of the Tax Legislation Committee of the State Bar of Wisconsin, and also is a member of the American and the Milwaukee Bar Associations. He is currently a senior executive with the Milwaukee Bucks and represents the Bucks on the NBA Board of Governors. He also teaches at Marquette University Law School and is a member of the Annuity and Pension Board for the Employees' Retirement System of the City of Milwaukee.
