Mr. Iseman has handled nearly all aspects of litigation, in matters involving a wide range of subject areas. He has also handled litigation matters with Latin American elements, including matters involving Spanish-speaking parties or witnesses and Spanish-language documents, and matters where parties, witnesses, and/or documents are located abroad.

He is experienced in nearly all aspects of such investigations, including collecting, reviewing, and assessing English and Spanish-language documents; preparing for and conducting on-site witness interviews in Spanish; preparing memoranda and reports for presentation to clients and the U.S. government; and helping to develop strategies for managing the internal investigations in particular and for addressing clients’ compliance concerns in general.
Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Iseman was an associate at an international boutique law firm in Miami with a Latin American focus. At that firm, he gained substantial commercial litigation experience, and also handled maritime law matters, luxury yacht closings, and a variety of commercial transactions.
Mr. Iseman has lived and worked in Latin America. He is fluent in oral and written Spanish, and well-versed in Latin American culture and customs.
