Robert Mueller is Foley & Lardner's director of fiduciary administration. He is responsible for the strategic development of trust and wealth administration services, including the delivery of FOLEY PrivateOffice, the firm’s multi-family office solution.
Mr. Mueller is an executive with 18 years of private client services experience, including a diverse background in trust investments, administration and operations. He has held business development and consulting positions for organizations serving the high-net worth industry. Today he guides firm policy on fiduciary administration and manages the staff and operations required to support firm attorneys serving as trustees.
Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Mueller counseled wealthy families, private multi-family offices, and full-service wealth management providers on a range of topics, including resource and technology deployment and client-centric service development. He has a depth of experience in guiding institutions through core-services evaluations, investment product development, work-flow automation and risk management initiatives.
Mr. Mueller is an active member of the Milwaukee community, serving as vice-chair of a foundation and as a member of a crime-prevention community group. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business economics and financial accounting from the College of Wooster. He began his career administering trust accounts for the Chittenden Trust Company and counseling the wealth-accumulating clients of Price Waterhouse's Personal Financial Planning practice. He has also held consulting and business development positions with Metavante Corporation and SunGard Wealth Management.
