Scott L. Kilburg is chief marketing officer of Foley & Lardner LLP, where he is responsible for the broad range of marketing, business development and planning functions for the firm on a global basis. Mr. Kilburg’s activities include supporting, developing, and executing business planning and development strategies for the firm and its practices, managing the firm's public relations, and ensuring that all aspects of the firm's marketing communications and marketing operations are effective, efficient, and consistent with the firm strategy.
Mr. Kilburg has nearly 20 years of experience leading, mentoring, and motivating professionals encompassing the disciplines of strategy, marketing, public relations, event management, database marketing, graphic arts, writing, competitive intelligence and business development in both corporate and agency environments. Prior to becoming chief marketing officer, he served as Foley’s director of marketing & business development.
Mr. Kilburg earned a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and marketing from Mount Mercy University.
