The collective experience and industry-specific knowledge of our Electronics Practice position Foley to deliver valuable and viable solutions sought by our electronic industry clients.

Our Electronics Practice provides a full range of legal services to corporate clients engaged in complex electronics disciplines. Drawing on direct industry experience and knowledge, our practice members provide support to our clients in the areas of telecommunications; computer hardware and software; electromechanical control systems; digital and fiber-optic communications; semiconductor devices, processors, and circuits; memory and logic systems; integrated, digital, and analog circuit design; and optical systems.

Our Electronics Practice serves the global marketplace, with team members located primarily in the firm's Washington, D.C.MilwaukeeChicagoSan Diego, and Los Angeles offices. Members hold degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, electronics and computer engineering, physics, and aerospace engineering — some at the postgraduate and doctorate level. They also are widely published, regularly teach at local law schools, serve as guest lecturers at legal and technical conferences, and conduct legal seminars before audiences of U.S. and foreign lawyers. Others have served as law clerks to judges of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
