Thomas C. Pence is a partner with Foley & Lardner LLP and is former chair of the firm's Labor & Employment Practice. Mr. Pence represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. He represents employers in labor negotiations, labor arbitrations, and NLRB proceedings. Mr. Pence also counsels employers concerning all aspects of employment and labor law, including reductions in force, the ADA, the FMLA, and workplace harassment. He works with employers to develop problem prevention processes, training programs, and alternative dispute resolution programs. Mr. Pence is a frequent speaker on labor and employment law topics.
Mr. Pence is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Indiana. He also is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third and Seventh Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court. He received his bachelor's degree in 1977 from Indiana University, and his law degree from Indiana University in 1980, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif.
