Yang Tang is a law clerk with Foley & Lardner LLP. She has extensive experience in patent prosecution functions in the areas of biotechnology & life sciences, medical devices and chemistry, as well as experience in intellectual property due diligence investigations.
Prior to becoming a law clerk, Ms. Tang was a patent agent, senior technical specialist and international legal assistant, where she was involved in patent prosecution, foreign filing and international marketing.
Ms. Tang obtained her M.S. in biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio), and her B.S. in biochemistry from Xiamen University (Fujian, China). She has extensive research experience in molecular biology and genetics in the biotechnology industry. She is fluent in English and Chinese.
Ms. Tang is registered to practice as a patent agent before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
