This workshop will focus on the key business decision points and legal considerations that organizations and providers should address when building a telemedicine program, and will delve into design thinking as an approach to quickly building, scaling and implementing their solutions. This course will review business models, compensation methodologies, patient-facing service lines, technology evaluation, and the development of integrated networks for telehealth. Additionally, Mass General’s TeleHealth Director will share perspectives on how design principles are relevant to telehealth; steps for implementing design thinking in a telehealth program; and lessons learned from the trenches. Audience Q&A and interaction will be encouraged throughout, and there will be a strong emphasis on practical solutions and real-world examples.
