His practice involves the resolution of patent, trademark, and other intellectual property disputes. Mr. Gross’ experience spans many diverse technologies, including software, global positioning systems, aircraft fuel systems, valves, turbine generators, medical devices, solar concentrators, photovoltaic cells, and electrocatalysts for fuel cells. He is a member of the firm’s IP Litigation and Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practices. Before beginning his legal career, Mr. Gross was a mechanical engineer with Caterpillar, Inc. As an engineer, he designed and performed structural analysis on large diesel engines for on-and off-highway applications. Affiliations Mr. Gross serves on the board of directors for the Chicago Legal Clinic. Education Mr. Gross earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He received his bachelor’s degree, with distinction, in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University. Admissions Mr. Gross is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
