Mr. Vernaglia spoke on Monday, August 6, 2007 beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Seminar A, “Contracting Trends, Financial Implications and Legalities.” His session was titled “An Update on Recent Legal Issues in Pay-for-Performance Implementation.”
This session explored issues like antitrust, confidentiality, contractual obligations, the anti-kickback statute, Stark law, state regulatory restrictions and applicable tort law as well as navigate the legal maze of operating P4P programs.
