Foley Partner Roger Strode, a member of the Health Care Industry Team, will be presenting at the 24th Annual Health Care Marketing & Physician Strategies Summit on Tuesday, May 21st at the Sheraton Grand Chicago. His presentation, titled “Legal Issues and Considerations for Physician Relations,” will focus on the Federal Stark Law and Federal Anti-Kickback Statue, along with other rules and regulations that affect what hospitals can and cannot do in the area of physician relations. He will address the rules for working with private practices vs. employed specialists, and what the legal ramifications are surrounding work on leakage.
