Gardere Represents Bottle Rocket Apps in Sale to WPP

Gardere Attorneys Michael H. Newman, Lawrence B. Goldstein, Glenn T. Singleton, T. Mark Edwards, Michael J. Donohue, Jason R. Fulmer and Terrell R. Miller recently represented Bottle Rocket Apps in its sale to WPP plc.

Addison-based Bottle Rocket was founded in 2008 following Apple's announcement of the creation of an app store. Since then, the mobile apps development company has grown into a $17 million business. Gardere has represented Bottle Rocket since its formation.

WPP, the world's largest network of advertising and marketing service companies, said the acquisition was part of its strategy to increase and strengthen its offerings and services in digital media and mobile advertising.
