Gardere litigation attorney Edward H. Block was quoted in a Forbes article on the necessary steps that company leaders should take to protect their brands from cyber bandits.
“Companies that ignore the threats to their technology infrastructures are sticking their heads in the sand. Cyberattacks are a ‘when not if’ event. Developing and testing response plans should be a key business priority,” said Block.
A former chief information security officer, Block frequently writes and speaks on cybersecurity issues, and holds dual certifications by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
