Rebecca S. Bradley

Chief Talent Officer

Rebecca Bradley is the chief talent officer (CTO) at Foley & Lardner LLP, leading the firmwide talent function and strategy — including recruitment, professional development, human resources, benefits and compensation, coaching, and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Rebecca provides strategic advice to firm leadership on the development of programs and policies that allow the firm to attract, develop, and retain top talent across all roles at the firm.

Prior to her role as CTO, Rebecca served as the firm’s director of professional development, leading orientation, integration, associate evaluation, mentoring, and firmwide training and CLE initiatives. Before that she was the director of legal recruiting managing Foley’s firm-wide entry-level and lateral recruiting initiatives.

Rebecca began her career at Foley practicing law, assisting clients in a range of complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts and at both the trial and appellate levels. Her experience included False Claims Act litigation, managing all aspects of responding to government investigations, and conducting internal investigations for a broad range of clients.

Rebecca has made a significant commitment to pro bono work as well, arguing before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in a Section 1983 excessive force lawsuit, and successfully negotiating for an appropriate individualized education plan for a child with multiple psychological disorders.

Before joining Foley, Rebecca worked at one other law firm and as a seconded attorney to a Fortune 100 global health care and pharmaceutical company. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable James B. Zagel in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Rebecca is a graduate of Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where she led the Student Bar Association and was an editor of the Law Review. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to committing to a career in the legal industry, Rebecca was the assistant designer for a swimwear company based in Los Angeles.
