Lisa Conmy is a highly experienced venture finance lawyer, serving as outside General Counsel to a number of privately held companies. She is a partner based in the Denver office of the firm where she is a member of the Transactional & Securities Practices and co-chair of the Private Equity Practice.

Lisa regularly counsels clients on business formation and corporate governance, general corporate and commercial contract counseling, and a variety of other corporate legal matters. She has a particular focus on the representation of venture capital funds and companies in venture capital financings, venture debt and exit transactions. Her clients span a range of industries, including technology, food and beverage, health care, manufacturing, and insurance. Additionally, Lisa counsels both borrowers and lenders in the cannabis industry in connection with financing arrangements.

Prior to joining Foley, Lisa was an associate in the Silicon Valley office of another law firm, where her practice concentrated on mergers and acquisitions and the representation of venture funds and emerging growth companies in fundraising and exit transactions.
