Shelby R. Engelbrecht

Shelby Engelbrecht works in our Business Law Practice, where she is part of the Transactions Practice Group. Prior to joining Foley, Shelby’s experience includes serving as a Student Attorney at the Michigan Worker’s Rights Clinic. She was responsible for drafting hearing plans and conducting phone conferences with clients. Additionally, she also worked as a legal analyst at a system software company where she managed contracts, maintained patent and trademark documents, and researched legal and software security issues. Shelby is a former Summer Associate at Foley.

- Represented Intra Group of Companies, a global provider of custom measurement technology and high-precision gears for aerospace and defense companies, on the sale of 100% of its shares to Gleason Corporation.
- Represented ORS Nasco, a North American wholesaler of industrial MRO supplies and a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, in its acquisition of Techniweld USA.
- Represented M2S Group, a leader in the material science and solutions industry, in the acquisition of the label solutions business of Iconex.
- Represented Cloud Cannabis, one of Michigan’s leading cannabis retailers, in the sale of its retail locations to Stash Ventures.
