Jake Gordon is a Senior Counsel in the Finance and Bankruptcy & Business Reorganizations groups. Jake’s practice focuses on financial restructuring and other distressed financing matters. He represents secured and unsecured lenders, bondholders, debtors, and other stakeholders across different industries, including health care, aviation, energy, media, and retail. Jake frequently advises clients on debtor-in-possession financings and distressed asset sales in both in- and out-of-court restructurings.
Prior to joining Foley, Jake was a finance and restructuring lawyer at a regional law firm in Michigan, and, before that role, he was an associate in the restructuring group at an AmLaw 10 firm.
