Markus Johnson is a business litigator who advises clients in a wide range of complex civil litigation matters. His experience includes drafting motions and briefs for intricate litigation issues, as well as conducting legal research across multiple disciplines to support clients in contested disputes. Markus has worked on a variety of civil cases, offering strategic guidance throughout the litigation process.
Before joining Foley, Markus served as a judicial intern to Chief Justice Annette Kingsland Ziegler of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, where he contributed to drafting judicial opinions and prepared bench memoranda. He also gained valuable industry insight during a legal externship in the health care sector, working with attorneys across multiple practice areas.
Markus earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School, where he distinguished himself as editor-in-chief of the Marquette Law Review.
