Elizabeth Mazzocco is a trial lawyer with experience litigating a variety of complex commercial disputes in federal and state courts across the country. She has notable experience representing insurance and reinsurance companies in arbitrations involving life insurance and property/casualty insurance contracts.
Elizabeth is a member of the Insurance & Reinsurance and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups.
Representative Experience
Elizabeth has litigated several reinsurance and other commercial disputes to successful conclusion, including:
- Multiple arbitrations involving disputes over premium rate changes under Yearly Renewable Term contracts.
- Arbitration on behalf of an insurance company in a dispute involving breach of contract and other claims related to a reinsurance treaty covering energy and construction insurance contracts.
- Defense in a class action on behalf of a car component part manufacturer, involving tort and breach of warranty claims.
