In the Consumer Finance Web Conference Series, you will have an opportunity to participate in an informative program designed to keep you up to speed on the latest legal developments affecting your business. We encourage you to participate regularly and provide feedback to help shape the content we provide in future programs.

The first program of the year will focus on the most significant consumer finance cases of 2012.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • What is the latest on TILA rescission?
  • What is going on with the evolving concept of "express consent" under the TCPA?
  • What is new in consumer arbitration?
  • Does a consumer who has no actual damages have standing to bring a claim?
  • What constitutes a "reasonable investigation" by a furnisher that receives a dispute notice from a CRA?
  • How has the CFPB used UDAAP in enforcement and investigations?
