Foley Partner Nathaniel Lacktman, a member of the firm's Health Care Industry Team and Telemedicine Practice, will be a speaker at the American Health Lawyer’s Association (AHLA) In-House Counsel Program in Denver on June 26, 2016. His presentation is titled, “Advanced Telehealth Contracting and Network Development.”

This course is designed to be an advanced, but practical discussion of key legal considerations health care providers should assess when building broad telehealth provider arrangements. Particular focus will be on multi-state arrangements, system-wide services, contracting approaches, and compensation methodologies. The presenters will review contract structures, payment methodologies, and laws for patient-facing service lines. The presenters will also discuss development of telehealth provider networks. Audience Q&A will be encouraged, and there will be a strong emphasis on practical approaches, and applying the laws to real-world examples.

Mr. Lacktman will be joined by an expert panel including:

  • Anna Orlowski, Chief Health System Counsel, UC Davis Health System 
  • Justin Stone, EVP and General Counsel, MDLIVE, Inc.
