Vishal Chander, an attorney in the firm’s labor and employment practice group, will present “Immigration Policy Changes and the Tech Economy” at an upcoming U.S. India Chamber of Commerce Dallas chapter webinar.

Recent policy changes to employment-based immigration programs are expected to have an impact on the technology sector’s ability to hire foreign workers. This webinar will cover the increased enforcement in the H-1B program to address fraud and abuse, as well as changes in H-1B adjudications policy for computer-related occupation. An examination of the aftermath of the fiscal year 2018 filing season will also be discussed.
