Foley Partner and chair of the Intellectual Property Department Sharon Barner has been named one of The 50 Most Influential Minority Lawyers in America by The National Law Journal. Published in the June 2008 issue of the National Law Journal, the list includes minority attorneys in private practice and government, law professors and in-house counsel who have demonstrated the power to change the law, shape public affairs and launch industries.

The National Law Journal asked readers to nominate candidates who have had a national impact in their legal fields and beyond during the past five years. The publication supplemented these nominations with its own research to identify the most important and influential minority leaders in the legal profession.
