Beck Quoted on EMC v. Donatelli

04 June 2009 The Docket News
Foley partner Russell Beck was quoted in an article that appeared on The Docket, the news blog of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, on June 4, 2009 titled "Ex-EMC exec can work for competitor, but with limitations." Beck discusses a case centered around the question of whether an executive level EMC Corp. employee could go to work for rival company Hewlett Packard despite signing a one-year noncompete agreement. He notes that the courts are working hard to balance the interests of the employer while still allowing employees to obtain gainful employment.
