Foley Attorneys Named 2009 Michigan Super Lawyers

Foley announced today that eight Detroit office attorneys have been named 2009 Michigan “Super Lawyers” by Law & Politics Media, Inc. In addition, four Detroit office attorneys have been named 2009 Michigan Rising Stars by the organization.

The eight Detroit attorneys named 2009 Michigan “Super Lawyers” and their primary practices, as classified by Law & Politics, are:

  • Patrick Daugherty, Securities & Corporate Finance;
  • Steven H. Hilfinger, Mergers & Acquisitions;
  • Judy A. O’Neill, Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights;
  • Chris E. Rossman, Health Care;
  • Thomas B. Spillane, Mergers & Acquisitions;
  • John R. Trentacosta, Business Litigation; and
  • Ann Marie Uetz, Business Litigation.

The four Detroit attorneys named 2009 Michigan “Rising Stars” and their primary practices, as classified by Law & Politics, are:

  • Daljit S. Doogal, Mergers & Acquisitions;
  • Jason D. Menges, Business Litigation;
  • Scott T. Seabolt, Business Litigation; and
  • John A. Simon, Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights.

To compile its annual list, Law & Politics surveyed more than 800,000 attorneys nationwide, asking them to vote for the best lawyers they have personally observed conducting business. The final list of “Super Lawyers” features the top five percent of Michigan attorneys in more than 60 areas of legal practice.
