Rocha Quoted on U.S. – Cuba Trade Relations

V. Manuel Rocha, senior advisor on international business at Foley, was quoted in an article titled “Jacksonville should get ready for more Cuban trade, former ambassador says” in the September 15, 2009 issue of the Florida Times-Union. Rocha predicts a future boom in trade between the United States and Cuba, remarking that changes occurring in both the U.S. and Cuba favor the U.S. eventually lifting the decades-old embargo that has suppressed interaction between the two countries. He adds that Jacksonville will be able to capitalize on increased trade by establishing relationships with Cuban manufacturers in advance of the embargo ending.
