70 Foley Practices Recognized as First Tier in "Best Law Firms" Rankings

Foley announced today its recognition in the inaugural U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings. The firm achieved first-tier rankings in 70 practice areas ranked locally and nationally. This places Foley in the top 10 firms for total number of first-tier metropolitan practice rankings across all U.S. markets.

To compile its “Best Law Firms” rankings, U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers evaluated more than 3,000 law firms across the United States. Reputational assessments were solicited from more than 100,000 private practice lawyers, 80,000 clients and thousands of law firm employees. Respondents were asked to evaluate firms based on criteria including understanding of a business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, expertise and responsiveness, among others.

Practices are classified and ranked in national and metropolitan categories established by U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers. Foley rankings include:
