Rocha Quoted on Latin American Economy

Foley Senior Advisor on International Business Victor Manuel Rocha was quoted in an article that appeared in the Miami Herald on November 13, 2011 titled "Latin America better prepared to weather a slowdown in global economy." Rocha discusses the developing economic strength of Latin America and its ability to withstand current ongoing global economic volatility. He states that the European economic crisis will impact the region but not as severely as in the past, noting that what happens in China is more important to Brazil than what happens in Europe. Rocha adds that emerging economies will help Latin America to experience its best decade in 50 years.
