Rocha discusses the developing economic strength of Latin America and its ability to withstand current ongoing global economic volatility. He states that the European economic crisis will impact the region but not as severely as in the past, noting that what happens in China is more important to Brazil than what happens in Europe. Rocha adds that emerging economies will help Latin America to experience its best decade in 50 years.
