Foley announced today that Greg Snell has joined the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice as of counsel in its Orlando office.

Snell has nearly thirty years of experience handling complex state and federal court litigation in Florida and across the country. He has represented clients on a wide spectrum of claims, including intellectual property, unfair business practices, employment, insurance coverage, professional negligence and construction, among others. Snell obtained a verdict of $18,787,500 in Volusia County, Fla., in 2007, which was then reported as the highest verdict in county history.

“We are pleased to welcome Greg to our team of seasoned litigators,” said Michael Tuteur, chair of Foley’s Litigation Department and Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice. “His extensive multidisciplinary experience will provide immediate value to our clients in Florida and nationally.”

Snell has been AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell for 19 years and has received recognition many times for his professional accomplishment and community service. He has written and spoken extensively on litigation, employment law and other subjects within his scope of practice.

“Greg is a well-respected attorney with deep ties throughout Central Florida and a successful track record of obtaining favorable results for his clients,” said Michael Gay, managing partner of Foley’s Orlando office.

Prior to joining Foley, Snell founded Snell Legal, a Central Florida business law boutique firm. He began his career in Miami. Snell is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a membership limited to advocates who have obtained a gross recovery on behalf of clients of one million dollars or more.
