Partner Michael Lockerby was quoted in a Wall Street Journal article on January 6, 2014 titled, “Restaurants Fear Clout of a New Food Giant.” The article discusses the panic in the restaurant industry among small businesses when a merger was announced between Sysco and US Foods. Lockerby was quoted saying, “The law generally permits distributors to profit from dealings with intermediaries as long as those intermediaries aren't created to perpetuate fraud.”
