Partner Johnathan Israel was quoted in a USA Today article on February 19, 2014 titled, “In labor case, comparing Northwestern’s role to NCAA’s.” The article discusses how Northwestern’s lawyers have worked to deflect responsibility to the NCAA as the school’s football players continue their quest to gain union representation against their university. Israel was quoted saying, “The NCAA would have to do things in the same way that you might say Northwestern is, so controlling their daily work life.”
