Partner Irwin Raij was quoted in a Businessweek article, “Would You Pay $2 Billion for the Brooklyn Nets?” on January 13, 2015. The article discussed Mikhail Prokhorov selling his 80 percent stake of the New York basketball team. Raij, who specializes in sports franchise acquisitions, provided analysis of the factors impacting the potential price of the Brooklyn Nets and was quoted saying, “It’s going to be north of a billion. I’d be surprised if the team itself was over $2 billion.”
